Calvsie King of the Calvsie post his incoherent thoughts...
An almost great night... I blew it... July 4, 2007 - 16:32:06
Well Monday I called up Alisha and informed her I was going to a 9:30 showing of transformers at the micon and was wondering if she cared to join me... She said yes, so she got a lift to meet me at the plasma center and we headed up that way to Chippewa Valley Family Restaurant. The food was good and the service was as expected, Awesome...
Then we went ot the park to kill time, she never had been to Irvine park so I showed her all the animals. I was working up the guts to ask a simple yet difficult question for me. Then I had an incident, she was very understanding and asked no questions, but for me the night had suddenly gained a black spot. We got to the theater got our tickets and waited 10-15 minutes in the lobby. During this time I almost asked her again, but when the time came I just let it slide by... I'm such a social inept...
The movie was excellent, and I enjoyed it, but all things considered I was unable to speak to my friend...

Part of me still is screaming at me for not being able to do anything right while another portion says I did the right thing...
In my head it seems like an easy question, but I cannot help contradicting myself. Do you simply ask her, "will you be my girlfriend?" or "you want to go steady?"...

I wish I knew....
RGS out...

You just have to bite the bullet Calvsie.

The first time is always the hardest.  I reccomend pretexting anything you ask with "I have no idea how to ask this, so please forgive me if I sound like an idiot" :P
