...it's off to Chippewa I go! Yes, I am starting a new campaign for an assembly candidate who is ranked 2nd in the state for winning their race. It's really almost like a promotion to some extent. I have to admitt I'm a little ....well, scared isn't the right word but since I can't think of any other word to describe it I'll use 'scared' for now. However, this does bring up the next decision of where the heck am I going to live. Do I live in Eau Claire and commute to work or live in Chippewa and commute to class. Seeing as I have a much more likely chance of getting an apartment in Eau Claire. Well, actually, you see I think I've already found an apartment. Now people need to tell me if this is a good deal or not. I pay 100 for the 1st month and then 200 for the next two months (I'm living there 3 months), and then I pay a 100 for deposit, electric not included, the leaser/renter originally paid 700/month for the place, it is on lake front property and the patio opens up to face the lake and I will have a roommate from S.Korea who wants to learn english. I will be looking at the place on Wednesday with the other student and if it looks nice why not. The apartment will also be fully furnished too. The other option is for me to live with a volunteer who's contribution is putting me up in their extra room but for me, it's worth 200/month to have my own space and to not have to worry about pleasing and tip toeing around someone. So sue me I'm a little territorial and I like my space to some degree, I like having the feeling of ownership in my surroundings. Also, I have to figure out when I need start my summer class....yeah for Philosophy of Law. But my professor is pretty darn hot. I'll catch ya'll later. I'm thinking it... - Kid |
