Weekends... May 22, 2006 - 9:42:54
So.  I went into the cities this weekend to do some shopping and it went well.   Saturday went well we went ot the Mall of America and we did some shopping but everyone was so incredibly tired that we went back to Leah's house adn took naps.  Leah and I woke up and then went to Rocky however the poor Neil-io was so exhausted he didn't go to Rocky and slept for about 14 hours from the time the nap started 8pm to about 11am the next morning.

Saturday was the second time I've gone shopping at the MOA and I can honestly say that it will be a very long time before I go again.

Anyway, Rocky was interesting.  I was a "virgin sacrafice" (a Rocky virgin is someone who hasn't seen the show done live before) and I got to play the game 'Lets have an Orgasim' on stage.  As I said...quite interesting.  We were suppose to give our best interpretation of having an orgasim on stage.  Not too surprisingly I won the 'competition' even though I kept getting interupted during my build up.  On the whole though Rokcy is definatly an interesting trip and should be done by everyone atleast once in their lives.

Then on Sunday Leah made some great breakfast and as she went off to listen to some bands, Neil and I went off to do some more shopping.....or so we thought we were.  You see, you shouldn't ever trust directions that google map gives you.  THEY SUCK!  The directions that google map gave us did not work out b/c the streets that they said were going to be there weren't and then teh streets were wrong and somewhere along the way google map decided to make up streets that don't exist.  So we asked for directions...again....and again....and again....and again....a total of about 5 times we stopped and asked for directions and not a single time did anyone give us the SAME directions nor use the same streets.  We ended up taking an unwanted tour of the entire Twin Cities for about 4 hours only to find out that it was 3 turns and 15 minutes away from where we originally started but google map decided to give us the long and hard way to get there.

However, the day wasn't such a bust because we did get to do some shopping there and we went out to eat at a really good restaurant that has my favorite obscure beer on tap.

'Twas a good weekend.  Now today I'm back at work and waiting to talk to my potential future new candidate.  We'll see how that goes so wish me luck or pray for me or do something...I don't know whatever you see fit.

Have a good one ya'll.

I'm thinking it....

Going to RHPS is probably one of the greatest experiences ever.  I love it.

Glad you had fun! ^^
Neat!

Speaking of Rocky, if anyone wants to go again in the relatively near future, I'm heading up an excursion to the Cities for the second show next month.  Anyone who wants to come is welcome, so long as there is room in the vehicle(s) and/or anyone else is willing to drive.
