Haven't been on land in a week. oh well. I'm broke and running out of cigarettes. we pull in thursday. i hope i make it. if you've driven a billion dollar warship lately, raise your hand. finished the second book in the dark tower series. wish i had the third. wish i had been better prepared for this in general. met with the Navy Career counselor today, and he told me I have the highest test scores he's ever seen. couldn't figure out why I'm stuck in deck doing work that takes no thought, and it basically came down to my recruiter screwed me. and I have a traffic ticket thats something that restricts me and blah blah blah. I shouldn't be doing the job I'm doing right now because I'm way too smart for it, but since I'm here, I'm stuck with it for the next 18 months. suck. I try not to make a big deal about my intelligence around people who aren't also intelligent, but some of these guys are just simply fucktards. i love that word. fucktards. later. - Winchester |
