So on a mad and spontaneous whim I hitched a ride with a friend to Milwaukee for Summer Fest. IT was a blast. I have found some new favorite bands. First of all was this bluegrass guy Kenye Wayne Shepard, and then The Donnas. Both of these bands I like enough to download a ton of their music however I did discorver Cowboy Mouth and I do plant on buy some of their albums because they're just that good! I also have more respect for the athletic ability of LARGE men after seeing a 300lb guy do a backflip on a BMX bike. Anyway, in other buisness I'm leaving for Cape Hatteras...like now. Off to go liveon a island in the middle of Huricane Haven. Not sure how I feel about this.... Kinda weird how you know it's time to get on a plane and you're fine with that, no problems and looking forward to being gone for awhile and then you look at something familiar and it makes you miss someone suddenly like a cold wind on a warm summers night. Time to pack up and head out again... Time to think of the future again. - Kid |
