...but since I like being a dork, that's okay.
I feel bad for skipping the Dean meetup -- I really wanted to be a good citizen and support the candidate that's important to me... but, well... I'm a dork. I admit it. But I'm still glad I did what I chose to do instead...
...okay, so, if at this point you're confused... well, that should actually be literally everyone reading this blog. Thor might figure it out, but I don't think he reads this. I think I have told literally NO ONE about what I'm eluding to...
...but I promise to explain by next week.
I think I need to do what I want to do NOW, while it's not a big deal. While I don't feel pressured and I don't feel like there's some expectation.
Could doing this now be a mistake? Yeah. Absolutely. But, if I do it now, then no one gets hurt. I might end up a little disappointed, but nothing more than a slightly bruised ego will result.
It's better to live bruised, knowing you answered the door when opportunity knocked, then to be sheltered and wondering what was on the other side of that door.
Right now, I don't know what is on the other side of that door. Maybe it's just a brick wall. But maybe it's something else.
And damned if I'm going to waste my life wondering about it.
I promise to eventually explain, but right now I'm just going to clam up if you ask -- so don't. Or do ask. Because I'll have fun telling you that I'm not willing to say yet. *grin*

Right now I'm not worried. I mean, what the hell? It's not like I have anything to lose...
