Walk in the Park (Vlog 2.20) | |

So, I think there's been a bit too much negativity around my vlog and my website lately, and Crysta agreed. That in mind, we decided to go and take a walk in the park right near our apartment. That's right, you should go outside.

So, this is Grover Neighborhood Park in the video, which is located within a few blocks of my apartment building. It was an absolutely beautiful day out... and creepily enough, absolutely no one was out there. Okay, so one or two people were there, but no kids were on the playground.
Stranger still, no kids were in any of the backyards along the park. This, to me, is exceptionally odd, considering how many families there are in the neighborhood.
Yes, it was 5:00pm-5:30pm and some of them could have been eating dinner, but not everyone is going to eat that early. But the place was just... deserted. To me, that was just plain eerie. This leads me to believe, simply, that people need to get outside more. Seriously, get out of the house. It's absolutely gorgeous out this time of year in the Northern Hemisphere, and you should be taking advantage of it.
Again, sorry for so much negativity on the site lately. I try to usually keep an upbeat tone, and it was quickly approaching levels close to a certain "situation" from a while back...
...and we want to avoid situations like that.
Well, I'm going to go back to enjoying my evening now. And remember... GET OUT OF THE HOUSE. GO OUTSIDE. GET FRESH AIR!
