Page 123 of Idoru by William GibsonSo, to start things out, I've actually added a new article to the website. I know, I know, don't freak out or anything. I wrote this about a month ago, and haven't decided what I want to do with it. I'll probably end up putting it in The Flip Side, but I'm not sure yet. In any case, I figured I'd share it with you guys at least. The article addresses Network Neutrality, and should be a decent read.

I can always hope at least.

But rather than go on about it more, I should just point you towards the actual article. So, here it is: The Case for Network Neutrality.

So, yeah - as for what's actually going on in my life, there isn't much new to report since my last couple of updates. I've effectively just been hanging out with either Chris and Derek or spending time with Crysta. The other night Chris, Derek and I pretty much proved how little our interactions have changed over the years (as seen in the previously mentioned Flashback entry) even though life has changed quite a bit. We ended up just hanging out and playing Halo 2 for a while. That's right, we're playing the same god-damned game. Bungie, we need Halo 3 already. Please.

I severely need a new game to suck at.

Speaking of the flashback, I found the blog entry that occurred after I took those videos, and you can read that old entry here. It's always interesting to see how much my life has changed over the last few years for me. I mean, I record so much of my life online. I was talking about this with Chris the other night, and he commented that it was strange how I'm very private about deeper stuff, but I seem to want as many people as possible to know about the surface level stuff. I hadn't really thought about it before, but he really is right. This is also why I get mistaken for an extrovert by people, but consistently come up as an introvert on psych tests.

Eh. Such is life.

Crysta made me cookies yesterday also. They're very yummy. It's so easy to make me happy sometimes...
