So the ship was kicked out of Panama today. Literally, we were asked to leave and never return. All after one damn day. I had all of four hours off the ship thursday night, Duty on friday and was supposed to be able to go out and do fun things and buy needed items today, but last night there was a fairly major incident. I don't think i'm allowed to comment, and you won't hear about it on CNN I don't think, but suffice to say, because of a few people from my ship that were in a bad situation and then made an honest mistake, we won't be getting off the ship in panama ever again. most likely. I'd just like to take this time to say that if you have a job you can quit at any time and not have it fuck over the rest of your life, be very grateful. also, if you get to leave your office at the end of the day and go home, instead of just down the hall, be grateful. Cause you could be me. P.S. Yes, I volunteered for this. but I was promised that it wasn't this shitty. - Winchester |
