F'ing ammo onload. May 1, 2006 - 22:10:44
So I'm up in north cali for the week, because the warship needs ammo. it's not like we're going to get to use it though. looking at the NBC report and pics really made me wish i had magically made a way to be there. I've been very morose lately because of the fact that a lot of my friends are either now out of the Navy or reassigned to the east coast. it sucks, but i'm sure that if the navy decides i need them, they'll be kind enough to issue me more. because, really i'm starting to think that they never want me to see anyone i actually care about ever again. but i'm not going into that shitty issue right now since i don't want to jinx anything. also, i'm pissed, because there's a .50 cal gun school going on right now. seeing as how that gun is my primary function on the ship other than painting and washing the damn dishes, (FTN), it may have been a good idea for me to go. especially considering that i really only know that you point the loud end at the thing you want to put a hole into. but really, i'm not bitter. not when you consider that the people they did send to school don't even use that particular gun.
