Good w/the Bad April 16, 2006 - 15:25:30
GOOD: My girlfriend, Taeliac/Sam and I finally got our new bed! It's a Sealy Reflexion Split Queen Laguna Beach set which retails for about 3 grand. I, however, got it 75% via factory direct through work. It's sooooo nice. It's actually a latex foam bed as opposed to having springs. It's a big marshmallow.
BAD: In the process of moving the old bed, I had to move a very large piece of plywood out of the way. It was between our old matt and box, and was about 5 feet wide by 8 feet long (apr). I accidentally dropped it on the top of my foot from about 2 feet up on top of the old box spring. I had thin shoes on, so I thought I broke my foot! It hit right about in the middle of where the laces on shoes start and end. I can walk, but it's really sore and achy. Boo.
I guess you just have to take the good with the bad.

Yeah, it kind of did. I'll be alright, but it sure is sore, all the way down to my big toe.
I suppose I should've mentioned the board was vertical when it fell, so it was like getting hit with a really, really heavy yardstick. Really.

Although, I am now tempted to step on your foot during NBCon. :-p
