So happy new year and all. something like that.

Recent holidays have been rather depressing, but despite the fact that I was alone with my thoughts and a bottle of crown royal, it really wasn't that bad.

Which is odd. New years should be the worst holiday for me because two years ago new years eve is when the whole heather and carlos shit started, but i realized a couple of things after half a bottle of crown.

1. Her leaving me was far from the worst thing to ever happen. in fact, it is high in the running for best thing to ever happen to me.
2. despite the previous realization, she can still go fuck herself.

then after another generous portion, i realised more.

3. Crown Royal is my new god.
4. these days i'll worship just about anything, as long as it's not jesus.

so watched a few movies, drank until i forgot my name, (i think. that part is still pretty foggy. I do remember staring at my ID for what seemed like hours.) passed out on the floor and woke up with one helluva hangover.

so yeah. Let's just hope 2006 doesn't suck.
