A Good Day.
Posted Jan 15, 2004 - 0:07:25

Oi, so, my much more esoteric and philisophical ramblings seemed to have finally gotten the better of me with my post the other day, but rest assured - my cocky, asinine observations and life narritives have returned in full force.

Tuesday night I finally got off my ass, and went out. Derek (Roach), Chris (Winchester) and I rented a movie and hung out. Yes, I know - that's not exactly the picture of excitement for many people, but it was fun none the less. It also involved me leaving the house, so it's lightyears beyond everything else I've been doing lately.

Then today (My brain still thinks of this as today since I haven't been to bed yet), we three got together again. We had lunch, and then played videogames all afternoon. I dropped Chris off so he could go pick up his car from the mechanic, and Derek and I headed out to American Science and Surplus so he could purchase supplies for products to be sold at NoBrandCon 3. For those of you who don't know, Derek vends "swords" for live action fighting.

I headed home at about 6:00pm, and got a few things done around the house. I watched my West Wing rerun on Bravo, and then the new episode of Star Trek: Enterprise (I am über-nerd!). While watching Trek, Chris called. I taped the new episodes of West Wing and Law and Order, and headed out to play videogames with Derek and Chris again (as I said before, complete and total nerd.)

I know it's not all that exciting, and that you couldn't care less, but I had a damned good time. I sometimes forget how much I've missed these guys, and it's days like this one that make me remember.

So, nothing all that entertaining today, true. But, heck -- I'm getting closer.

Oh yeah, it turns out that Chris had a paycheck of mine that he'd forgotten to mail from our job this summer. It was only for one day of work, but it's still a little something to pad my pocket with. It's always fun to find out you have a bit of money that you didn't know existed.
