Quiet. Simple. Truth. | |

Note: This was written at 4:15 AM - My connection went down though, so I was unable to post it until today.
There is truth in these moments, where I sit alone in the middle of the night. There is truth that speaks in words that I could never voice aloud.
Clarity is a fleeting wish that dances just out of grasp for most, including myself most days. But when it comes, it challenges - and sets one's heart and mind free. The restrictions we involuntarily set upon ourselves are illusion, and to break free we must merely step beyond them.
Some days I wake up and wonder why I feel the need to move -- the feeling is there. The motivation to move forward is intense, and pulls at me. And while the actions do not always follow, the need still sits within my heart.
This is one of the few things I don't don't always understand though. Or, at least, sometimes I forget the meaning that I glimpse sometimes in these darkened moments.
Life is life, simple and pure. Complexity is merely a false creation foisted upon it by our own needs to justify temporarily unfathomable reasoning. We do not understand something, so we build rules and rigid structure for it. We seek truth, but merely elaborate on the words that surround it.
There are simple questions we claim we cannot answer. Like, what is life? What makes something alive? Many claim it is something that we can only describe, and not define. But I disagree. I define life. What is life?
This is.
For those of you who logged on here expecting something funny, or some amusing commentary -- I apologize. I have decided tonight to allow the world to glimpse what I usually hide with humor.
