So I teased it a while back, but I've finally finished the official soundtrack for my webcomic The Chronicles of Crosarth. The preview tracks I released back then are a little different than the final versions, but if you like them you'll enjoy the rest of the album. And, of course, like all my earlier releases you can download the album for free.
So you should do that. Because, y'know, free.
The album is almost entirely instrumental (with the exception of tracks 2 and 5), and even though I work entirely digitally, it has a much more traditional sound than my earlier works. I mean, sure - I've had traditional tracks on my earlier stuff, but it wasn't the dominant theme. There's a lot more "acoustic" to be found here than normal too.
Which is, y'know, funny - since I (again) work entirely digitally.
This album contains what has also become, truly, one of my favorite songs I've ever written - "A Dance With Friday." I included it as one of the preview tracks, and it's the only one that ended up with essentially no changes out of those three. Ostensibly it's Allison Friday's theme, but while "dance" has an obvious possible double meaning, so does the inclusion of her name.
As Fridays can be seen as bad luck, especially in British Naval tradition.
