Irresponsible Irreverence - The Undead Comic.
Posted Mar 12, 2012 - 9:30:00

Irresponsible IrreverenceSeveral months ago I ended my gag strip "Irresponsible Irreverence" so I could have the time to produce The Chronicles of Crosarth, as I only have time to do two regular comics (UnCONventional, of course, being the other one). Since then though, sporadically, Irresponsible Irreverence has - in fact - updated.

It's done so enough now where I feel the need to declare the comic no longer "fully dead."

On the other hand, it's not exactly back either. I don't have the energy to come up with two more strips a week - I don't even know if I can regularly come up with ONE strip a week. Regardless, I've now updated all the listings on TRHOnline.com to declare that the site is alive, active, and merely updating on a schedule of "whenever" instead of a regular one.

Now, obviously, that means checking the strip for updates is going to be a pain in the butt for the one to three people who might actually care. For that, I say the easiest thing to do is follow the RSS feed, become a fan on Facebook, follow me on Twitter, or follow my Tumblr as all of the updates will be pushed to those sites.

The humor in said comic, as always, is going to be stuff that makes me laugh - so it's not quite (and has never been) for everyone, but I think it's enjoyable none the less. There was an update last week, there probably won't be one this week though. I have some ideas, but I'm not sure how I want to execute them. Frankly, the whole reason I ended that strip was because I was running out of stuff I thought was actually funny. I've taken time off, so I've built up a new set of ideas -- but if I were updating regularly again, I'd likely run out of them a second time.

So I figure I'll save them, and dole them out when I think I've achieved an ideal state for their release.

Or something.

That made more sense in my head.

I have all of your stuff on RSS and follow it quite regularly, so I noticed when the reanimation began.  I'm not sure how you envision it, but it seemed to me to be more and more a personal and more or less topical, almost blogish, sort of thing as time went on.  Honestly, it probably works best as an "update whenever the mood strikes" sort of thing anyway.  That's my .02.
Mostly I ran out of Hitler jokes.
