Oh hey, it's a Random Art post -- I haven't done one of these for a while, huh.
Well, I guess it's about time I got back into the habit.
Today's art is, of course, of the HMS Hummingbird from
The Chronicles of Crosarth. Specifically it's a full color version of a panel in
this comic from a few weeks ago.
I enjoy blending photos with cartoon art, honestly. It builds a pseudoreality in my head. Or at least that's what I tell myself - in truth I'm just terrible at drawing buildings, and by using photos I'm able to create the look I want without spending 30 hours on a panel. I'm fairly terrible at mechanical design too, which is why I sometimes wonder why my first non-comedic comic ended up being Steampunk to start with...
