So with my pushing through UnCONventional's current mega-storyline I Hate November along with my other webcomic The Chronicles of Crosarth, I've had most of my random time sucked up and swallowed this month. That's the main reason why I've pretty much not updated this blog at all this month, beyond a couple of things here and there.
I mean, a lot has been going on. I've traveled the last two weekends (a family party the first one, Daisho Con the second) and am going out of town for Thanksgiving tomorrow night. But have I written about any of this stuff like I normally would have? No, I've been quiet.
But it's hard -- I mean, not only is I Hate November about ten times more complicated in the art than UnCONventional normally is, but I insanely made the story run five days a week. Chronicles of Crosarth is also much more complicated in its art than Irresponsible Irreverence (it's predecessor in my comic schedule) ever was. I literally threw myself into the artistic fire all at once. This was nuts.
In any case, yeah. Stuff has been happening.
Daisho Con, for the record, was a ton of fun. I got to hang out with a lot of cool people, and I had a lot of fun. I'd name names, but honestly I'd forget someone here or there and I'd feel bad about it -- so instead I'll just say "everyone was awesome" and leave it at that. There are a few people I missed this weekend, including Befu, but hey -- it was a big con, and I can only be so many places at once.
I love a good con, and this was certainly one of those. I do want to say a huge thanks to everyone who bought copies of UnCONventional Chapter One while I was there - you guys are awesome, and my comic quite clearly has the best fans ever.
