I figured we'd finish out the week with another
UnCONventional drawing, this time featuring our other two main characters, Phil and Tara.
Phil's been drifting out of the strip more and more these days, and for good reason - his character arc really doesn't have anywhere to go. Phil's always meant to be the "stable one" and so he's more likely to be a bystander or voice of reason in any situation. Yes he's facing challenges as a new father, but that's not really central to the Convention theme (and frankly I don't have the requisite experience to write a lot of it convincingly). But worry not, there are long term plans for his character. He won't lose his place as one of the "central four" just yet.
