My Attempts to be Clever are Failing Today | |

 When you're trying to come up with regular blog entries, writers block is the most annoying thing ever. While my website updates seven days a week in some form or another (with at least The Daily Trae) the longest running regular feature is, of course, this very blog. While historically I haven't always updated regularly, in the past year I've made a concerted effort to make sure the blog gets updated anywhere from 2-3 times a week.
So today, when I opened up my blog software to write an entry, I found myself staring at an empty textarea, not really having anything interesting to say.
I came up with a few things like explaining to an irrate blogger that the reason no one is raising a fuss about Google TV being blocked by the networks is merely because no one is using Google TV when a Roku Box is several hundred cheaper, or how Facebook suing Lamebook is ridiculous...
...but I just couldn't get myself to care.
It doesn't help that my life has been fairly unexciting these last few days. This isn't a bad thing for, y'know, living my life - but it makes for rather boring stories. Like, "I totally ordered Chinese food on Saturday" doesn't make that exciting a piece of text. I could tell you how I finally got around to watching Red Vs Blue this weekend (yes... I know... it's been around forever), but I don't think you'd really be that entranced.
On the upside, things should pick up in the next few weeks - between the holidays, Daisho Con, and my normal end of year reflections, I think we'll have some interesting things to talk about in this space. Heck, if I wasn't so tired I could probably come up with something today... but it's a Monday, and with no true motivation to say something today, I find myself sitting here... staring at a blank box.
Well, it's not as blank now, but you get the idea.
Hopefully something will strike me by Wednesday, and my second entry this week will somehow entertain you. Because lord knows this one isn't, but at least I've managed to stretch out talking about not thinking of anything to write about for a few hundred words today.
