We've been in the new apartment for a little while, and have mostly unpacked, so I thought I'd dig out the camera and record a simple tour of Crysta and my new place. It's not that exciting, I know, but it's the sort of thing that actually does work well as a vlog -- and I know I haven't done one of these in forever.
Music in this entry is of course a Lt. Snorkel song - but one off of the old album and not the new EP. Not much more to add on the music description, I mostly chose it because it is nice and upbeat.
All and all, I like our new apartment. It's a lot more space than the old place, which you can compare this with, but we also have a lot more stuff now than we used to (even moreso when you compare it to that old video where we hadn't even gotten all of our furniture into the old place yet). Mostly I'm very happy with the new place, although it isn't perfect, and it's nice being able to afford a decent space these days.
Not long after I filmed this vlog a storm moved in, and the rain is coming down pretty hard right now. Storms move in pretty quickly around here, and I guess I was just spoiled when we lived in Eau Claire. The nice thing about having the patio door though is that I can just sit here and get a pretty good view of it coming down.
