We Need More Parties | |

 So as many of you know, this last weekend Crysta and I threw a small Halloween Shindig. Yes, for those who are curious, the photo that accompanies this post is an image of me dressed up as "Jayne Cobb" from Firefly/Serenity. It may be, in fact, the laziest costume I've ever done, but it gave me an excuse to buy another Nerf Gun.

Anyhow, thank you to everyone who came, and if you are reading this and didn't hear about it -- I'm sorry, it wasn't anything against you... Crysta and I just have a very small apartment. An apartment I will mention that was absolutely packed with everyone who came.
A fun time was had by all, and I'm fairly certain everyone enjoyed themselves. We had planned to record an episode of The Earl McCoy Show, but sadly we were too busy HAVING said fun to go record a podcast (next week we'll do episode two, I promise).
But this has me thinking -- we need to throw more parties. Sure people around town here hang out still and get together, but hardly anyone throws "parties" anymore. I think that needs to change.
We used to throw parties. I remember, I was at a lot of them. Now it's true, we lost the OA house this year. That is, in fact, unfortunate. But we still have the Zombie House -- and while I'd never volunteer a house I don't live in (hence throwing my own party for Halloween) y'all need to get on this or something. Heck, if we can do something decent in Crysta and my microscopic apartment, we can do it just about anywhere.
So yes, this is Trae, demanding more parties. We threw this one, so it's someone else's turn to throw the next one. Get on this pronto people... I mean really...

How far do you want to travel to have a party?
We were planning to come, but Wilky was waaaayyy to drunk. Seriously, we were kinda worried. So we ended up going back to Chad and Kevin's place. Where we realized we were missing Kevin.
