This is a very important announcement that you should watch as something important happened while Crysta and I were in Rhinelander this year. I'm not going to put it down in the text, and you'll just have to watch the video to find out what happened.
So yeah, if you don't watch the video, you don't get to know what it's about -- as I'm totally not going to talk about it in the text of this post.
I'm going to talk about everything else.
Music in this entry is appropriately "Ride of the Belkies" for reasons that may be complicated to explain. Well, some of you may know the reason for it, but I doubt most people will get it.
We were only able to go to Rhinelander this year for a few days, as I only had a few days of time off saved up at the new job. Lake Thompson is one of my favorite places in the world, and it never disappoints. The weather was cooler, so it was too cold to go swimming. We got out on the lake though, and had a lot of fun. Between the lake, the cabin, spending time with my family, and the thing I mention in the video... it was an awesome vacation despite only having a few days there.
We got back to Eau Claire late Sunday night, and going to work this morning was a bit of a drag. It's hard to pay attention to spreadsheets and error reports when there is a big lake out there.
I miss that lake already.
I know I haven't vlogged for a while, and I actually have a back log. I've got footage of a couple of things that need to go up... so they will. Just not in the order that they happened.
