The General Nature of Life
Posted Dec 7, 2008 - 23:19:33

So, things have been excessively hectic for me lately. I've been working at least five hours of overtime a week, this weekend was the first time in a while where I actually got to sleep in my own bed. It was nice, trust me.

I know I haven't been posting a lot here in the last couple of weeks, so I thought that I'd try and catch everybody up.

Obviously I went home to Milwaukee for Thanksgiving. Crysta and I stayed with my parents, and she went down with us to my mom's side of the family's Thanksgiving celebration down in Chicago. It was held at my Aunt's house, and it was a very good time. While I was down in Milwaukee, Crysta and I hung out with Derek at his house, and it was nice to be able to hang out with him for a while as well.

I don't get to see him enough as it is.

Anyways, the week was filled with work and not very much sleep, and there's nothing all that exciting to talk about there. I get up, I go to work, I go home, I collapse. It's all very exciting, I know.

I actually did get out on Saturday night, and ended up hanging out with a lot of the newer No Branders who I don't know as well. Frankly, I think they're all pretty cool so it was nice to get to know some of them better.

On the site, some of you have noticed I've been uploading episodes of the soon to be retitled "3DO Game Review" to Digital Obscuria over the last few weeks. I know I didn't say anything about it last week... and so I'm saying something about it now. It's a good show in my opinion, so I think you should check it out.

I also uploaded a song from Happy Wednesday's DaishoCon performance to the Music section of the website. It's a performance of "Dead Birds" and you can find it here.

I should also mention that the Weather Center is officially dead right now. I'll remove the link shortly, but it's offline because the script got hacked. Unless I can find a secure replacement for the system, don't expect the weather center to be back online anytime soon. It's a sad day, but a necessary event for system security.

With that said, I think I'm going to go to bed.

So I can get up in the morning.

And Go to Work.

And Continue the Cycle.
