So, after long deliberation and probably too many Wheat Thins, I decided to start a series of 3DO video game reviews... because lord knows the world needs to know more about the 3DO.
These videos are being produced in conjunction with Rising Stuff, and normally they'll show up on that site first before mine -- but for this first installment I decided to break my own release date and put up the first review here. So, without further ado, I present to you the review for Total Eclipse for the 3DO.
It should appear on Rising Stuff's site come Monday. Don't expect another review until at least a week after that, but the second review will likely be "Guardian War/Powers Kingdom," followed by Samurai Shodown, Zhadnost, Twisted, Fifa... and then whatever I feel like.
Okay, in all truth I've already written, filmed and edited the review for Guardian War, I'm just going to sit on it for a while. I'm just going to prep most of these ahead of time... while I still have the ability to make them.
Here's the thing, I love the 3DO. It's my favorite console of all time, and I think that every single one of you should go out to your local used game store or pawn shop (or Rising Stuff if they have one in stock) and try to pick one up. Then you should go out and buy tons of Games. I want to make Trip Hawkins not regret my favorite console.
Is that enough evangelizing for the day? I think so.
Go buy a 3DO.
Sometimes I think the schizophrenic nature of this website is hilarious sometimes. It's full of Video Games, Politics and Neo-Paganism. That's a rather bizarre blend when you really start to think about it. But as I'm the primary producer of content for this website with rare exception, I guess that really just is a reflection of me in that.
