Trae Dorn vs. the Crazy GuySo I did something today that I probably shouldn't have... but it's after a long chain of events where I did exactly that, and I'm fairly certain that I really don't have any choice in the matter any more.

What am I talking about you ask?

I'm talking about the newest entry in my apparently now ongoing series on internet spellcasters: Trae Dorn vs. The Crazy Guy. In it I detail the ridiculous exchange between myself and "Frater Dantalion" of Black-Magic-Spells.co.uk -- and the "magical shifting webpage" on his site that oscillates between decrying me as the bane of all mankind and the savior of everyone.

It is seriously, for lack of a better descriptor, the craziest sh!t I have ever had to deal with in my life.

The funny thing is, this is in no way the "Part 3" I had planned on writing. I wasn't going to do anything about this guy at all. He has full contact information on his webpage, so there's no need for me to "expose" him -- he's already out in the open. My job was already done and I didn't have to lift a finger. Frankly, I'm only interested in people who claim to either represent my faith, or conversely lie about who they are. As far as I can see, this guy doesn't fall into either category.

But he turned his crazy guns towards me anyways. It's just absolutely bizarre.

The funniest part for me is how he keeps either making fun of my singing or saying my band is successful. We're an obscure nerd rock comedy act whose most easily compared to other bands no one has ever heard of either. Neither of his descriptions are anywhere near right.

On a much lighter note, but still in reference to said band, Happy Wednesday has a concert this Saturday at the University. And yes, that is during STEAK weekend. I'm not sure what the cover is off the top of my head (Biedermann's been the one in contact with them) but I promise it's going to be a good show.

I mean, even if we end up sucking, at least we'll be something to laugh at. Considering we're a comedy act, I think we'll just pretend it was on purpose or something.

And remember, we'll be at DaishoCon in November, so if you haven't preregistered to go there, you should. It's a con run by a bunch of great guys, so if anything it should be at least be a pretty good time.
