Fifth Wicca Essay. Excitaling.
Posted Sep 16, 2008 - 10:42:35

Wiccan FundamentalistsIt must be a Tuesday, because I posted yet another essay to the Wicca and Paganism Section to the website. This particular entry is about what can best be described as Fundamentalist Wicca. I know I said I was going to write this entry a little while ago, so I thought I'd carry through on it.

Because, y'know, I do that some times.

I think this particular piece is important, and the reason why is that we can't claim that Wicca is an open and accepting religion if members of the faith are acting like the Zealots they claim they are fighting against. One of the most frustrating thing is closed minded people who say they are on your side in the fight for open minds, and it drives me nuts.

Like, seriously, nuts.

I haven't decided what I'm going to write next week in that section, as I have a few ideas that might work. I think it's going to come down to what strikes me at the moment when I open up my word processor next week. So, yes, Content Fest 2008 will continue for a while longer. I don't know how long I'll be posting to that section on a weekly basis. I think it will end up being "Until I run out of ideas for essays." At that point, I'll probably shift to a monthly update for that area, but until then... enjoy.

I just got word from Vomit Hat Steve that he's not going to be able to the extra leg work for my FastSpells.com follow up article for The Craptacular Web, so I'm going to put the final nails in that today, and then post it either tomorrow or Thursday. If you're wondering why Vomit Hat Steve was involved, it will make total sense if you know him once I post the article... trust me.

This is probably the deepest I've gone into an article for that section, and I hope to make that level of depth normal from here on out. Of course, if you look at older articles in that section... they look like total crap. Seriously, don't even bother going through them. I will, however, be adding new articles over time to expand the section. Probably one article a month over there or something.

It'll all be good.

Things in life are pretty good. Crysta and I bought a Pumpkin Pie yesterday from Ron's Castle Foods... and it is delicious. Well, delicious for store bought pie that just cost a couple of dollars at least. Seriously, this is why Fall is my favorite time of year...

...cheap Pumpkin pie. Mmmmm.

Not much interesting going on though. Life continues in a generally forward direction and the like.
