Bloody Murder (Vlog 2.23)
Posted Aug 31, 2008 - 14:09:00

Sometimes you need to regress to about twelve and go out to a park at night and play Bloody Murder and Hide and Go Seek. It's all good fun, and running around in the night. That, and Steve managed to lock himself in a box. You don't know it's been a good night until someone gets themself locked in a box.
Music in this video is, of course, a Lt. Snorkel track. "A Happy Song (For the Blue Yarn Kid)" just seemed to fit the video well. I tried to take more footage, but since we were playing in the dark, it made that a very difficult prospect... so I gave up.

Bloody Murder, for those unaware, is a very simple game. The person who is "it" goes and hides while everyone else counts at "Base" or "Goal" (depending on your favored terminology). When everyone else is finished counting, they go and look for the person who is hiding. When they find the person who is "it" they yell "Bloody Murder!" (or as we played it last night to prevent the police being called "Ed MacMahon!") and scramble back to Base. The person who is "it" has to try and tag someone before they make it back. The person who gets tagged is "It" for the next round.

It's fairly straight forward.

Overall, it was a very good time. There were actually more people there than you see in the video, as Kelly, Biedermann, Katie, Belkie and Pink Ranger all came along too (joining Yushi, Chad, Steve, Fargo, Cheesy, Crysta and Myself).

That, and Crysta baked cookies before hand. There is nothing better than freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, let me tell you... mmmm...

...well, except freshly baked and frosted Ginger Creams...

Off to continue on my day though...
