Hair Cut (Vlog 2.21) | |

So, it's been three years and many, many inches of hair... but it's time to chop it all off. The long hair is now, officially, gone. Well, at least it is until it starts to grow back. Then we'll see what happens.
Music in this entry is, of course, "His Tentacled Glory" by Happy Wednesday. That song is probably my favorite song we do, so I thought it was about time I used it in a video again.
So yeah, I drove over to Sport Clips today and got a hair cut. It's been a really long time since I did that, so it's a very odd feeling to walk around with so much less weight on my head again. What's going to be stranger is my next shower, as washing my hair will be transformed from a 15 minute process to a 5 minute one.
That's just... weird.
Things in life are proceeding quite normally, and going in a generally good forward direction. I'm looking forward to Geek.kon in September. The funny thing is, my birthday is well before Geek.kon (September 9th) and I'm not so much excited about that. My Birthday has become so much of a non-event in my adult life that I don't even think about it. So yes, on the ninth day of the ninth month of the year I get a bit older and the age meter ticks up just one more bit.
Eh.
I'm going to be 28 in less than a month. Yeesh. It's just a couple more steps towards 30. Of course, my sister is actually turning 30 this September, so that's at least something to make me feel better.
Never underestimate the healing powers of schadenfreude. *grin*

Hitting 30 was bad..and now every year after that...gets worse....you start to notice things...like your body aging...harder to get up off the floor..ankles and knees making noises...sucks lemons
The first time you hacked it all off was only traumatic because someone threw a backpack at your head. Brian's going to cut all of his hair, and I'm intrigued but mostly scared and sad.
Like I said, you now look oddly respectable.

Why? Why would you do this? You do know what this means, right? It means people are just gonna have one more reason to confuse the two of us. Maybe if you got a really big facial tattoo, or something? Or dyed your hair red? Nah, Calvsie would still be confused.

Just thought I'd let everyone else hear the music running through my head at the moment. Seriously, though Trae, it looks good. But I do have one logistical question. Wherever are you going to put your feathers?
