I drove Crysta back to Eau Claire this last weekend (hence the late vlog). Her entire road is torn up though, which kind of makes the place look like a disaster zone. Oh, and I have a sonic screwdriver now...
Music in this entry comes from a couple of sources, as per usual. First off, I would be remiss to mention the now defunct, but always close to my heart, To Slay Zombie Newton. Their contribution, as always, is the opening melody heard at the beginning of every single one of my vlogs thus far. The other music in the entry is the remixed version of 1337band's Loud Guy on a Train that can be found on the recently released (for download) Happy Wednesday album. I know, I know, I'm plugging the heck out of the thing, but c'mon - what do you expect? I mean, this is me we're talking about - king of self promotion. Slowly but surely I'm going to have everyone listening to this thing.
You know it's going to happen.
It was nice to be able to spend the weekend with Crysta, and as mentioned in the video, she is officially the best girlfriend ever. I mean, she gave me a sonic screwdriver. It's the best gift that I've ever gotten from a significant other. I mean, it shows a level of actually knowing me and thoughtfulness that just blows me away. I think I mentioned this thing existing like once, ever.
I am a very happy man.
That said, it makes me sad that I won't see her for a few weeks. Blarg. Long distance, for the record, officially sucks and I am not a fan of it. That is my official statement on the matter, and I seriously doubt that I will be persuaded to a different point of view on the matter.
I've been feeling slightly ill these last few days, which I hope clears up soon, and on its own. The last thing I need right now is for me to get massively ill... as my health insurance just ran out. I think it's probably some variation of the chest cold my mother had when I left town for Crysta's. She seems to be fine now, but it took a week for her to get better. I just don't have the time to be sick I've decided though.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend though, and this sonic screwdriver is officially the neatest thing ever. Yeah, I know, I should stop talking about it. In other stuffs, I know I haven't made a big deal out of it, but I've been quietly expanding the Classic Movies section of the website. Feedback on what else I should include in that section would be much appreciated. I am constantly hoping for feedback and suggestions from you guys, as I want to make it something you want to use.
Sorry for the late nature of the vlog though, I'll probably upload the next one late Sunday to slowly wrangle the schedule back to Saturday updates in a more natural fashion. We're nearing on the one year anniversary of my making vlogs, which is terrifying if you think about it. Okay, so not terrifying, but at least mildly strange. A side note, I have become the most friended user on LiveVideo.com. How strange is that? I don't know how long I'll hold the "title," but at least when I post this it's true.
