Have you ever wanted to interrupt a live Television Broadcast? Well, we did... sort of (TV10 barely counts as Television). A group of us went down and raided a live show with Nerf weaponry - and made several demands.
Music, as always, provided by the ineffably quirky To Slay Zombie Newton. This is the first time we've raided the All Nighter in a very long time - it used to be a regular tradition, but we'd grown lazy over the years. We decided to get back into it this year because Wilky/Ka-Thunc works at TV10 now, and in all the time he's been working there we haven't raided (he actually had been part of the group who raided the last time we had done it). I decided that we should be the Bizarrnian People's Liberation Front - in reference to Zhadnost. You'll also notice our demands are lifted right out of the movie Airheads.
I love that movie.
And I will say I was mildly stunned when they gave into one of our demands. *grins*
Ross was kind enough to be our camera person, leaving me free to randomly threaten people with a Nerf gun. You may notice that the guy who I point the gun at in the hallway (and wave back into the room) was the same guy from the incredibly awkward handshake in The Third Squashing of America. Hooray for small worlds, or at least relatively small towns.
In an unrelated note - I have a 30 Second video displaying how my chair died. I will miss you chair. Fortunately, I have a second chair in my room that I can use -- but it will make it so it's difficult to have people over as I have no extra seating anymore.
Rest in Peace Chair, Rest in Peace.
Other than that, I'm pretty much spending this weekend working on papers and doing nothing of interest. I mean, besides watching a new Episode of Doctor Who that's currently downloading on my computer.
I love that show so much.
I think I'm going to end this here though, and get back to work on stuff. Everyone have a good weekend.
