So I slept for over 12 hours last night.

SnowyI've been feeling absolutely exhausted lately, and yesterday things just hit a crescendo. I seriously felt like I was going to pass out from the instant I woke up. Combined with being tired, I've been feeling sick lately as well, so it just ended up being a day where I felt terrible. I ended up e-mailing the professor for my night class, telling him I was sick (and sent in the assignment that was due), because I just didn't feel good.

I ended up going to bed at 7:00pm last night, and woke up at 7:30am... which is about when I wake up normally.

I had very strange dreams, let me tell you, including one where I was grocery shopping at the Pick N Save in my parents' neighborhood, but they had remodeled and I was having a hard time finding certain items (the gummy bears actually - see, this is such a me dream...). I don't know what made me have that dream in particular, although it is true that every time I've been back in Milwaukee and gone to that store in the past year things have been in different places (as they were going through a massive remodel). I also had a dream where I was in a remake of Gilligan's Island, only it had been rewritten as a fugitive-style drama, where the "castaways" were not shipwrecked, but on the run at sea, having been falsely accused of some series of crimes... and we were in the Atlantic instead of the Pacific for some reason too... I think I was supposed to be the Professor.

...it all made sense in my dream, I swear.

That Pick N Save dream is kind of weirding me out though. I bought a sixpack of Coke Zero in it, and I never drink Coke Zero. What does that even mean? I think there is something severely wrong with me. *grins*

In real-life-and-not-Trae's-bizarre-subconscious news, as I've mentioned a couple of times, I'm going to be in Bloomington, MN this weekend for MarsCon 2007. I'm really excited, as I love doing these room-parties for NoBrandCon. I will likely be in my full Gardening Ninja regalia, as we're going to do a Ninja theme for the room this year.

That theme could change, but I'll be in the costume no matter what we do, as I am a low level mascot for NoBrandCon.

We'll just be there Saturday Night, and I think the room number is 1301 - so if you are one of the people who stops by, be sure to say hello or something... because I can't think of any of my regular readers who are going who aren't going to be a part of the NoBrandCon crew.

My only concern is that it may keep snowing tomorrow - it's been fairly constant the last week. I mean, go back to my last vlog entry, and imagine that almost every night. It's been warm enough during the day where the accumulation has been fairly low (as a lot of it melts during the day), but with the new storm system that's developing, I am mildly afraid of white out conditions when we drive there. Last year, we actually had that very thing happen to us on our way back from MarsCon, so this isn't exactly unheard of.

Grr... I usually like snow, but the instant you add in my need to spend an extensive time on the freeway, it quickly turns into a "damned snow!" style attitude. There's nothing I can do about it though, other than cross my fingers and hope. The day we finally have the ability to control the weather though, I'm so buying someone a beer, I swear...

I think I'm going to go hunt down some food though, because I'm just starving at this point.

I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well, and I hope you got to the Twin Cities with all the bad weather.  I'd just like you to know that the same night (day) you dreamt about the Pick 'n Save, the one in Brookfield on 124th had its roof collapse.  Fortunately, noone was hurt.  Hope you had a good weekend.
