So, to start things out, I've uploaded the third part of BOB and GIANT ROBOT today. This is the grand finale of my bizarre, three part, poorly animated series (you can still view part one and view part two still if you need to catch up). I probably won't do any new animated shorts for a while, as they are a bit of a pain in the ass - but I did enjoy making this particular series.
I've been uploading quite a bit of video content lately to various sites (LiveVideo especially), and I think it's something that's fairly fun for me to do. Who knows, maybe I'll find a way to make a living off of producing my shorts... but probably not. Eh, who cares - I'm having fun.
On Saturday we shot the footage for the NoBrandCon 2007 plot video on Saturday, which I should have edited and online by the end of the day. Getting it onto the actual NoBrandCon site is going to take the actual committee's approval (or at least the webmaster's), but I may put it up here with my commentary.
I'll also probably put together an outtakes reel the week after, just because we did have a pretty good time while making the thing. It was Topher, Steve, and myself playing our various mascot roles (Greenboy, Cardboard Commando, and The Gardening Ninja respecively), so yeah - the exact same crew as last year's Duct Tape Boy Mockumentary, only I'm actually on camera this time around (and we built Steve a much nicer helmet than the one I threw together in five minutes for last year).
In other news, work and school are pulling into full drive now, which means I don't get to relax as much anymore. On the upside though, I think I have everything fairly well managed, and that I have a solid handle on all of this... even if it does make me want to throw things across the room sometimes.
But only sometimes.
Things are going well though, stuff is getting done, and life is going in the right direction. I don't think I could really ask for more anyways, so I'll try not to complain too much.
On that note, I haven't had lunch yet. So, I think I'll go off in pursuit of a decent sandwich...
