My last few days in Milwaukee
Posted Jan 17, 2007 - 12:47:21

So, this is my last week in Milwaukee - I head back up to Eau Claire on Friday morning.  It's kind of strange to think that this is the last semester of my college career.  It's a nice feeling, don't get me wrong.  It's one that I've been looking forward to for a long time; however, it's still a bit intimidating.  In any case though, I am in no way ready to go yet.  I haven't started packing at all, and there are about half a dozen things I need to get done before I leave... which is making me stress out just a little.

Okay, not that much - just a tiny amount.

Since I last posted, a couple of things have happened.  Sunday night most of my immediate family got together for one last Sunday dinner for the season (the only person not there was my sister who lives in DC... for obvious reasons).  My Brother and I both begin classes next week, and on Tuesday my Dad left for the NAMM show, so it was really my family's last chance to get together.  It was a nice meal, and a nice way for the family to get together before we go splintering back across the state.

Monday was the one month mark of Crysta and myself dating.  I think we'll both be happy to get back to Eau Claire, as getting together is significantly more difficult for both of us in Milwaukee (because of awkward living scenarios).  While a part of me wants break to last longer, another part of me wants to get back to Eau Claire as soon as possible because of this.

So yes, for those of you who hadn't caught on yet, Crysta and I are dating.  I'm still shocked when I find people I've talked to (and even mentioned her to) who haven't figured that one out yet.  I know I haven't been blabbing about it, but I haven't exactly been hiding it either.  But to continue on with my week...

Tuesday I did absolutely nothing important.

*shrug*

I haven't gotten to see Derek since this last weekend, so I'm going to give him a call tonight.  I want to do so before I leave town, and it's probably my last chance to do so tonight.  I tried to get ahold of him yesterday, but had no luck in doing so.  Hopefully I'll have more luck today.

But I haven't had lunch yet - and I think that, at the moment, lunch is the biggest priority.

Food is good my friends, food is good.

Congrats. I think we started dating (other people of course) at the exact same time. Funny.
Umm... thanks unsigned anonymous user? :P

Good blog post Trae...
Food is good only to a point, then it starts getting bad.
