So, yeah. I keep saying there will be more time between these - but here I go again, with a sixth video entry. This one is entitled "Stalking LARPers." And Youtube picked the worst possible frame for the preview...
So, yeah, this time around I follow Ka-Thunc and Topher to their LARP as I had nothing better to do. The had stopped by the K.T. lobby to buy a soda while I was sitting out there, and I got curious.
This is really only the first part of my Saturday night - it continued with some other people afterwards, but I didn't continue filming obviously.
For the Soundtrack this entry, we (as always) begin with the five second clip of To Slay Zombie Newton, followed by a track off of the Firefly Soundtrack (by Greg Edmonson). Finally, the "end credits" are instead a monologue from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas... and anyone who was with us on Saturday night would understand why that makes total sense. *grin*
Oh, and there is a short reference to The Second Squashing of America, and the first person to find it gets... well... one Karma point I guess? It's pretty obscure though, so you'll have to pay attention.
Speaking of Karma, I would be remiss not to mention the November Karma Challenge, which if you guys choose to participate could be our most entertaining Karma Challenge yet.
Topher says something about a "Jacques Cousteau documentary, or a Michael Moore documentary". This line is from 2nd Squashing of America, near the beginning, if I recall correctly.
I'm pretty sure that they were using new WoD rules. I've dropped out of the LARP since, but they've either switched entirely or they're using a combination.
Oh, and Trae? We have the newspaper clipping about a strange group all dressed in black taking orders about killing people from another man dressed in black. ^_^ It's posted to our fridge.
