Two brand new TRHFilms for you guys!

Japanese Girl
Lesson #2
So, today Neil and I went out with a camera, and we shot a new video. It is entitled "Not a Japanese Girl" and is, in my opintion, hilarious. It features the song "Japanese Girl" by the J-Pop artist Hitomi - and the title for the film is obvious in reference to that. Usually my films make OTHER people look silly, but for this one I put myself up on the chopping block with Neil. I figure, if I can dish it out I should be able to take it. *grin* I do want to point out that I am actually a better dancer than what this film suggests - I was trying to look bad, honest. The footage for it was shot around campus, and yes - we got at least one or two strange looks - but for the most part no one even witnessed our filming.

You'd be surprised what you can get away with on campus during the weekend.

Besides that, I've also uploaded a film called "Lesson Number 2" which I actually made a while ago. It was never intended for wide release though, as it's more of a "Best of TRHFilms" clip. But I showed it at NoBrandCon 2006 during my TRHFilms panel, and since then people have been asking me to release it. So, here it is. It's pretty funny I think, and it does admittedly rescue quite a bit of footage that had ended up on the metaphorical cutting room floor over the last year and a half of my film making.

Of course, if you like those, you should make sure to check out all of my other films as well because, well, they're damned funny.

Last night I went to both Bears^3 and Craig's birthday parties (which were seperate parties just in case you're confused), and had a fairly good time. Got to see a few people I haven't seen in a long time at Craig's, and played a bit of Karaoke Revolution at Bears^3 party. All and all, a good time. Oh, and I had some pizza rolls too. I thought about going out to another party tonight that I could have gone to, but honestly I'm in the mood for a quiet night on my own at the moment.

Yep yep, just me and the DVDs for the evening... and a take home exam... dammit...

That "Not a Japanese Girl" video is an Instant Classic in my books.  I haven't laughed that hard in ages!  I felt "Lesson #2" was fairly entertaining as well, but nowhere near as gut-busting as the 1st new video.  Keep up the good work!
"Not a Japanese Girl" was so funny that it put a smile on my face. :D

Good Stuff, Trae! ^_^
Me and my friend watched the saga of willie and had a hard time concentraiting with how much we were laughing so hard. You guys have WAY too much time on your hands.

Elise
Tragedy of Willie is one of my personal favorites... I mean, you have to love it.  It's a Fish Funeral!

I glad you liked the films though. :)
Yeah, all of them were really good the "not a japanese girl" made ME laugh, but no one else really thought it was as funny as I did. I was like "look at Trae and Neil" OMG XD WEll I didn't say "OMG" but you get the idea. I was also bored beyond hope yesterday and wiki'd "No Brand Con" and you guys don't have profiles up, but there are links on your names. Are you planning profile pages? That'd be cool! Elise
I put the name links in for the heck of it - just in case anyone ever did anything of note. :P

I spent a long time writing that wikipedia entry.
Also - "Not a Japanese Girl" is a lot funnier if you've seen the original hitomi video.

...and it's even better if you've seen the video for the Halcali "Strawberry Chips Remix" -- and even more if you've seen some Mini Moni stuff... the J-pop references in this thing are occasionally subtle, but there are about a bazillion of them in there...
