Was Trae duped? Well, maybe.
Posted Dec 21, 2005 - 0:30:02

Snowy sceneI just love the view out my window. That's the UWEC McIntyre Library, and what I look at everyday when I'm goofing around on my computer. Yeah... pretty.

Anywho, the other day I talked about Homeland Security visiting a UMass Dartmouth student about trying to get Mao's Little Red Book through an interlibrary exchange. Well, as it turns out I may have been duped.

Apparently, there are many holes in the story presented in the original article, along with several dubious facts. ARCLog has some interesting comments on this as well, and it's all shaping up quite interestingly.

In other news, being the regular life of me that I've neglected talking about in this space for a while, I've finished all of my Test-finals, and just have a brief presentation to give Thursday morning... and I'm done for the Semester. I head down to Milwaukee that afternoon, where I shall remain until late January. I'm fairly excited. If you want to get ahold of me while in Milwaukee, just Private Message Me, or shoot me an e-mail. I would love to hang out with actual peoples. I expect a good deal of my social time though will be sucked up playing "Worms: Forts" in Derek's basement.

It's a really, really, really fun game. Trust me.

Erika may end up in Milwaukee for most of break, which will be nice. It's still up in the air though, so this is me crossing my fingers. It would be nice to actually be able to spend break - where we wouldn't have to be running around doing work constantly - together. Geh.

Tomorrow I have some stuff that I need to get done though - have to go collect some signatures. Why? Well, I'll tell you when I'm done. The announcement isn't THAT big of a deal, but it's enough of one that I don't want to blab it online all over the place (I've talked about this in person a lot, I just don't want it leaking onto Google yet).

And that's a full lid. Happy Yule, everyone. *grin*
