What is the point of any of this? Why am I here? Is there really any reason to get up in the morning, or do I just keep doing it out of sheer habit? Will I ever meet anyone who will want me as more than just a friend? Will I ever find love?

Agree'd with all everyone else says. I know it's hard to think of, and harder to do, but you're just not going to find someone to date when that's all you can think about. Desparation is not attractive, just let things be the way they are, and something might happen.
