So, to start with, something awesome: The Law and Order Spinoff Generator. Like most goofy little generators, you can create official looking logos to your hearts content. I almost posted "Special Catering Unit" or "Doughnut Eating Squad," but "Pirate Ninja Unit" won out in the end. I just like Pirates and Ninja - what am I supposed to do?
Well, build a Giant Pirate Ninja Robot and use it to conquer the world - but I don't have the time or money for such a random military endeavor.
Anyway, Andrew Werthmann approached me to build him a new website for his current Progressive project. We're still ironing out details, but we settled on my fee. He's looking to put his Radio program online, along with putting together an online newspaper. Mostly I'm going to use a backend similar to The Flip Side's for the newspaper section, and put together an audiofile management system (with Podcasting programs) for his Radio show. I will probably end up spending more time on the design than the backend. This would be a much more expensive site if Werthmann was having me build a fully original backend.
My spare laptop crashed, again. I'm not happy. Fortunately, I managed to backup most of my important stuff before it went kerblewy (and yes, that is a technical term). Looks like I'm taking notes in DOS Editor for a while though, and that's nothing but frustrating...
...anyone got a spare laptop harddrive sitting around?
