So, the Traegorn is on a farm at the moment.

Lamb! So, I drove up to the Menomonie area this weekend to see Erika. See, the thing is that Erika is farm sitting at the moment. So here I am, Mr. City Slicker, sitting on a sheep farm.

Yeah. It's pretty entertaining.

I drove here at like 12am Friday Night/Saturday Morning, and arrived at 4:30am. I promptly fell asleep. Saturday Erika and I drove into the Twin Cities so she could sign up to be an extra on the Prairie Home Companion Movie. After we did that, we stopped by Leah's place and hung out for a bit. After massive doses of hugs were administered, we went back to the farm (as the animals needed to be fed that night).

On Sunday, Erika and I cleaned the house at the farm, and went out for dinner at El Patio. It was actually quite a good meal, and I think I'll go there more often (or at least to the one in Eau Claire more often). When we got back to the farm, one of the lambs had gotten out of the field and into the barn. Erika and I (along with the two border collies Julie and Molly) attempted to corner it for at least thirty minutes. In the end, I grabbed it and hauled it over the fence, back into the feeding area. Needless to say, it was a bit of an adventure. That night we opened a bottle of wine, and had a quiet time watching Doctor Who for the rest of the evening.

And that brings me to today -- we've spent it getting all of our stuff packed up (the people who own the farm are coming back today), and playing with the dogs. We had breakfast at Erika's parents' house, and took a nap. Pretty tame, and I'm frankly thankful for that. All and all, it's been a nice few days.

I head back to Milwaukee tomorrow morning (so I can rush off to work), and you'll probably hear more from me then...

Hahaha...you loved all the little lambies. Watching you pick up a lamb was entertaining.
