So, for those of you who haven't checked the message boards, it may be news that I have found employment. Yes, I know. That is a frickin' miracle. It's working for the phone canvass at Wisconsin Citizen Action. Before any of you start going "Does that mean you're working for your brother (again)?" the answer is no. David does the field canvass, not the phone stuff.
So I am free from being the boss's brother.
Anyways, that's the good news. The bad news is that I've had practically NO social life these last few weeks, and now that I'm working evenings at WCA, it looks like there isn't much of a chance of that changing any time soon. *bangs head into wall*
The good news for me is that Erika is coming down this weekend. I am very, very happy about that. I know, most of you are going "Please, gods, please - DON'T get all sappy on us..." So I won't. Erika is coming down for the June UW United Council General Assembly, which is being held at UWM, and then is going to stay down here for a few more days for some recouperation time. Unfortunately, as some people may have seen in the news, Erika did not get the Student Regent position. Hugs are being prescribed in massive quantaties as treatment. *nods*
To finish off this post with something interesting to gawk at (and naked people!) I leave you with Wired News' report on a protest in Chicago. Apparently, there was a protest about the Eddie Bauer Store's sale of clothing that included nanotechnology. This protest involved taking their clothes off.
