So, this map is of what states in the US I've been to. It really has nothing to do with the rest of this post, other than the fact that I find it to be neat. I've apparently cut a swath which manages to avoid almost all of the South (as I've been to Virginia), the Northeast, along with the Northwest. Sadly, that means I've been to only 37% of the states, which is not an impressive number. To generate your own map, click on it and check off the states you've visited.
Anyways, I went to Menomonie this weekend to visit Erika (as I may have mentioned I was going to do). Just so you all won't get sick of my becoming cutesy, I will just say that I was very happy to see her and leave it at that. It was raining a good amount of the time I was there, but it was somewhat clear on Saturday afternoon, so we tried to take a walk. After many mosquito bites (which for some reason accumulated solely on my left arm and nowhere else) the long walk turned into a very short walk.
We later went into Eau Claire (for no particular reason) and took a walk there. Mosquito free.
To make a long story short, it was wonderful to see her. I sadly had to head back to Milwaukee last night, but such is life.
I have a job interview on Tuesday with Wisconsin Citizen Action, to work on their phone canvass, so everyone wish me luck on that. I'm going to go try and get some work done on the Flip Side website now.
