 So, things have been going not as great as anticipated, but hey - I have one thing to make myself feel better. What is that you ask? Well, I'll tell you.
The movie Serenity (based on, and the continuation of the cult show Firefly) comes out this fall. That in itself is a wonderful thing, but the reason I'm so giddy today is plain and simple: They finally put the trailer online.
You can view the Serenity trailer online at Apple's Trailer site. It is, in short, awesome. The Firefly/Serenity series is in my opinion the best science fiction to come out of America in quite a few years -- and I say that as a fan of quite a few current science fiction programs.
While the Stargates, Star Treks, Farscape, and new Star Wars films have all been enjoyable, Firefly/Serenity is really on a whole new level. Really, in my opinion, the only thing on TV right now that can hold a candle to it is the new Battlestar Galactica, and I still don't think that's as good as Firefly/Serenity. So you should really go on over to Apple's site, watch the trailer, and get yourself hyped up.
Why? Because - unlike Episode 1, this won't disappoint.

Man, that trailer was fantastic. Best part is that we seem to have the whole freaking cast back for the ride.
Woo!
This should be the summer's best film.
Book will barely be in the movie due to a scheduling conflict, but as Universal said they'll make a 2nd and 3rd movie if this does well, we'll probably see more of him then.
