One day is much like any other... | |

Lately they all seem quite alike. This Wednesday is much like the previous, and that one was much like the one before it.
A monotonous and veritable static existance in many ways. Tonight, just like any other Wednesday night, I'll either tape or watch West Wing, study for my Poli Sci classes, and then hang out at Hilltop right up until bedtime. Then I will sleep, get up and have a regular Thursday.
It's not that I mind all that much, no. I like the stuff that happens, and yesterday was somewhat abnormal for a Tuesday. I seriously enjoy my life, and I have a good time most days. But really, I have to keep myself on task, and can't let an autopilot response take over. I don't have time for that, and that's the important part.
I saw an ironic sight today, which still has me laughing. There was a no smoking sign directly over an ash-tray which was labelled "smoking station." They were bolted to the side of Zorn arena, within inches of each other. It seriously hurts my brain. I mean, what the frickin' heck? Make up your mind, University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, make up your mind. And they wonder why people have a hard time taking the school seriously... yeesh.
I got my room reserved for next semester too, which is a good thing. That's right, Trae actually did something on time, and won't lose his single room. All those who had bets on the matter can now commence exchanging cash.
Ah well, I guess that before I end this I'll just plug the Lord of the Rings Brainspike again, which is in the K.T. TV lounge at 1pm on Saturday. Free Nachos, kids. Free Nachos.

The ashtray is designed to extinguish the cigarettes as one enters the no smoking area. We have something like that at Tech, as well.
Except that you're allowed to smoke twenty-feet away from it...
...is just strange I think.
