I know it's been a while since I posted...

...but I am alive, and doing quite well.

I've just been very, very busy. With school, The Flip Side, and other such funn... including being contracted to build the website for Books Not Bush. That's right, I got a paid gig. As of right now, the site isn't up, but it will be before I go to bed tonight (so clicking on the link may or may not take you to a "coming soon" page).

What's going on with me? Well, I won't say much, but I will say that everything seems to be going in a positive direction. While details on the side may not be in their prime positions, the overall theme is "happy."

In a tangent so off that you may not even know how we got on the ride, but for some reason I have gotten two Menards fliers in my mailbox this week (as did everyone else in my dorm). Now, you may be saying "Why is this mentionable?" but I'm sure you'll see the irony if you look hard enough. See, they're offering discounts on various products like bathroom fixtures and screen doors in this ad. I live in a dormatory. They shipped the ad to everyone in said dormitory.

Again, if I have to explain this to you, it will lose the humor.

Last night was movie night for The Flip Side. We watched various stuffs, including the Peter Jackson film Dead Alive. Now, watching this, I am forced to wonder (by the guy killing zombies with a lawnmower in a semi-comical fashion) how the hell this guy eventually turned into the director of Lord of the Rings. It's just... uncanny. It's that same feeling you get when you watch the first Evil Dead movie (you know, the one that's funny on accident, unlike the later ones) and you think "This guy directed Spider-Man?"

We also watched UHF, Adrenaline Drive (a personal favorite), Pirates of the Carribean, and an episode of Firefly. All in all, it was a good night -- and I ended up heading home a little before 8:00am this morning.

Right now I'm doing laundry, and working on website stuff. Clean clothes are a good thing, boys and girls. *grin*
