Hung Out With Derek And Chris Tonight | |

I got together with Derek and Chris for like the first time in a month or so tonight. We mostly did the same stuff we usually do - nothing interesting to speak of per say, but much fun was had none the less.
We met up at Derek's at about 7pm, and played video games for about 45 minutes or so before heading out to see Spider-man 2 at Mayfair. No, I hadn't see it yet. And Yes, I know, I'm like the last guy on the face of the planet to finally see it. But I've seen it now, so there, neener neener neener.
Anyways, afterwards we went back to Derek's and... played more video games. Well, that and talked. Mostly jokes about how for the first time in like eight years none of us have girlfriends, and how none of us have full time jobs...
...thus leading me to think that maybe these two factors are related. *grin*
Anyway, much fun was had -- and no matter how geeky or nerdy we are, us having fun was the only important thing.
I don't know, maybe I should just avoid women for a while...
...this is where everyone starts laughing - because every time I declare that I'm taking time off of dating, I always end up chasing after some girl within a month or two. It's inevitable.
...But maybe I should really try this time.
Yeah, yeah -- stop laughing already.
Anyways, not much else has been going on lately - next week I go up north to Rhinelander, which ought to be fun though. I love going up into the Northwoods... it's just so nice up there. The air is clean, the nights are quiet, and I can just curl up with a book while the breeze blows off the lake. It's my favorite place in the whole world... and I'm glad I get to go there.
Every year we're not sure if we'll be able to do it again though, just because my brother, sister and I live such unpredictable lifestyles. We don't know what we'll be doing in a year, or whether or not we'll be able to get everyone together again.
But this year it's the whole family, so I'm happy.
I didn't include an image in this post, I know. I usually do. But I didn't have anything to really accompany it. Maybe next time.
Goodnight kids, I'm getting some sleep...
