The Way Every Day Should Begin
Posted Apr 26, 2004 - 9:38:29

My god it's beautiful...I woke up this morning to a gorgeous sky outside my window. I was feeling grumpy and sick, but when I returned from the shower I looked straight out my window and saw something quite spectacular. I've tried to capture it in photographic form, but I'm afraid my little digital camera lacks the quality to catch the subtleties of light, as colors danced across the drifting clouds...

...but I hope I've done the image a little justice with this picture.

Last night I spent mostly studying Political Science stuff with Erika, down in Davies center. This time, rather than slack off, we actually got work done for most of the time.

Oh sure, there was the time spent with Cheryl there that we just ended up talking, and the slight salt fight (which at one point ended up with my getting beaned in the face with a salt shaker - right on the chin), but over all we were fairly productive.

Afterwards, I headed up the hill and tried to relax for the evening. I curled up in bed and finished reading "The Crystal City" by Orson Scott Card, which is brilliant by the way. Orson Scott Card is one of my favorite authors by far, and I reccomend his Alvin Maker books for anyone who likes Fantasy, US History, or anyone in between. I also reccomend the Ender books to anyone also, but that should go without saying at this point.

I eventually went to sleep, or I should say tried to go to sleep. I laid awake in bed for quite some time last night before finally drifting out of consciousness.

Very. Little. Sleep. Have. I. Had.

Conflict continues within the realms of the Flipside, but nothing all that important has happened. Some people say "I want it printed, and it's a good article", and other people say "I don't want it printed, and it's a bad article!" and all colors in between. Literally nothing usefull is happening right now regarding this conflict other than a lot of people bitching at a lot of other people. I'm ceasing to give a crap about whole damned article anymore.

Sigh.

Finally, it looks like I have no interesting news articles to share with you today as well. I know I promised some yesterday, but I honestly don't think that anyone was caring about them. If you have a complaint about me not including said articles or other fun stuff, please lodge it in the comment field for this post.

If that's not good enough for you, I'll tell you where else you can lodge it...
