The Wind is Tearing Past My Window Right Now.
Posted Apr 18, 2004 - 12:51:34

The wind really is going right now... but at least it's in the 70s. It's actually kind of nice really.

Anyways, yesterday I spent mostly hanging out with Leah, made her watch some of the 1337porn.net videos, like Ben vs. The Cheese and the Maze Dub... which everyone should go watch. I'm fairly certain everyone who reads this blog has already seen them, but just in case we get any stragglers, they should check out the weird-ass work of those guys.

If you've never been there before, you *have* to watch Neil for Bitch. It's a classic, and you get to see Neil fall down a flight of stairs, and get hit with mallets.

Anyways, it was a rather simple day... swedish fish and soda.

In the completely random crap department, I just finaly got around to watching "Batman: Dead End" over at iFilm. It's a short "fanfilm" that was made back in 2003. I put fanfilm in quotes because while it is unofficial, and made by fans -- those fans are professional film makers. If you have yet to see it, I reccomend you give it a look. It's got Andrew Koenig in it as the Joker for pete's sake (he was Boner on Growing Pains... and he's Walter "Chekov" Koenig's son).

Also, in my complete nerdom I have to mention that Slashdot is reporting that the AmigaOS 4.0 prerelease has gone out to developers. Which is sweet. Okay, so you probably don't care... but still. It's neat!

Finally, in a little more serious news, we finally have cases going to the Supreme Court challenging the Bush anti-Terror policies. You can read an interesting Associated Press article on it here. This is the important stuff kids, as these are the cases that will set the future precedents. I don't know, it just kind of makes me nervous.

Also, you may have notices a slight tweak to the mainpage, with the addition of user info and the poll. Is this revolutionary? Nope. The user section is just there to let Forum users check their private messages, and easily look for new posts. The poll is... well... a poll. If I have to explain that to you, well... then I give up.
