Done with Utena... oh god... too much pink...

I like that show, but my whole world seems to be far darker in color than I remember. Staring at a world of pastels for two days can have that sort of effect on anyone I guess.

I have to schedule time to swing by health services tomorrow... but I'm not sure if I will. Maybe Tuesday... In anycase, I *need* to do this soon. No big deal really, but a pain in the ass none the less.

I keep seeing ads for this "Homeland Security" TV movie... I don't know if this is a good thing or not. I have a feeling it's still going to positively portray the administration of George W. "I Eat Babies" Bush and Dick "Aptly Named" Cheney, which is what will probably make it horribly inacurrate. Then again, maybe it will show just how little they were doing over the months leading up to the tragedy of 9/11, and just how much they dropped the ball.

One can only hope...

On the "Your Privacy Doesn't Exist Anymore" front, the taxman is pretty much going to be looking into whatever online database they can, to see who's lying on their taxes and who isn't. This is on the up and up, sort of, considering these were all databases that *anyone* could have bought into before. But I guess I still feel a little creeped out by it...

...but since I don't actually cheat on my taxes, I guess it won't effect me too much. *grin*

In the "completely random, but interesting" department, I ran across an article today about how many people lose or find their faith while they're in college. It's an interesting read to say the least, as a person who went through this kind of thought process before reaching college. Of course, I went the route less travelled - switching from unwavering Atheism, to finding my faith in Wicca.

Wow, that was almost exactly seven years ago. How time flies.

Regardless, it's an interesting theory of how people finally start to question the things they think they're "supposed" to be doing, and how many people just never even thought about it in the first place.

But, I digress. I'm going to kick back, and watch an episode of Alias off the Season 2 box set I'm borrowing from Shannon. There wasn't an episode on this week, and I feel a need to get my fix of asskicking action and intrigue. So, good frickin' night.
