Watching Last Exile on TechTV... | |

This is nice... I'm taking an hour to sit back, relax, and watch The Last Exile on TechTV... It's an excellent anime series if you haven't seen it -- I thoroughly reccomend it.
I forgot that today was the day to resign up for your room, and that tomorrow was the day to pick your room if you're moving... which means I forgot to ask my parents for the $75 to pay for the deposit... yeesh. Does this mean I'm screwed? Not really. But it does mean that I'll pretty much get a random room assignment again *sigh*. Not a whole lot I can do at this point, but it's not worth stressing out about. I would have ended up with a random roommate anyways, so it's no big deal. I'll just end up with a random room as well.
I've decided not to write an article for the upcoming issue of the Flipside - mostly because I'm tired, and I've had so many computer problems tonite that it's just not worth it. I had to reinstall my wireless card today, as well as my ethernet card from scratch... as well as reinstall TCP/IP.
Not fun... not fun at all.
So, pretty much I'm sick and tired of messing with crap tonite, and I have a headache, and I just want to watch the rest of Last Exile, then Extended Play, and then finally crash for the evening.
Sleep will be good, yes.
As I have a presentation in English tomorrow, I could use the sleep too. It's no big deal, because we aren't really being graded on it, but I think my actually being conscious would probably be a good thing, huh.
The Convention is just a few days away, and I'm incredibly excited about it too. I know, you're saying "Trae, stop talking about NoBrandCon already!" To those people, I say "Bleah!" and stick my tongue out. NoBrandCon is going to be neat, so deal with it. Steve and I may be doing a Variety show act at the Convention as well - singing a duet of 500 Miles for absolutely no good reason. Why? Because it's a reference to our old Karaoke for the Wasted routine, where we would scream the "Da Deh Da!" part back and forth as a call and response. It's quite fun, and I hope to get the audience involved. I'll also be hosting the Hanzo films again, which I swear to god this convention is single handedly keeping alive... hehe.
